Its interesting to see the connection that these, and undoubtably many more, people have although they have never met. It shows that we are all fighting our own struggle, and we have to adjust to the changes in global trade in order to provide better lives for our families.
I believe outsourcing is inevitable. It’s simple economics, the demand will be greater for jobs abroad if they are more skilled and cheaper. Instead American workers should work towards accepting this and educating themselves in the proper skills in order to compete on this new emerging global market.
We have to really think about how every action we make is connected to other people in the world. Even something as simple as saving money and buying cheep goods from walmart.
This global economy of ours is moving forward so quickly that it is hard to figure out how stay out of the path of the steamroller. How many other Americans have been laid off, their jobs outsourced or moved offshore, and are no longer able to afford anything but $5.99 t-shirts from China and other mass-produced imports?
If global development doesn’t start becoming part of the national consciousness there will only be more economic disparity in the world as a result of this globalization.
